playful colorful tendrils of spring

Oh tendrils of spring. It may be wet and even wild but underneath I can feel the earth warming, things stirring with growth, and life and blooms yes! as things tip towards spring and then summer !

i can't wait to lay on warm grass, to see the beaming grins from all the other peoplies excited too, to go to dragon boat races, see the river sparkle from new view points, go to soft parks and fall asleep in the sun. ahhh.

i am enjoying this "biography" of musician mark alan which says so dearly:

"Recalling a favorite boyhood memory, he says that he would lie between the rows of a freshly plowed field, the dark, sun-warmed earth to his back, just as the cool of dusk began to settle over the heartland. late in the evening he could hear the seemingly endless din of cicadas outside his window.

Mark alan's music is rooted in that fertile soil and from time to time it seems to beckon the solace of some vast horizon. growing up in rural colorado, he was only a child when he first heard the sounds that would shape him - sounds that resonate, even today. always, somewhere a radio, playing country, rhythm & blues or gospel music."

I love the phrase, lie between rows -- that is is evocative and warm and quieting. sun-warmed earth. yes Mark Alan, yes indeed.

so beautiful; these colorful butterflies and the wings on the sol pop stand!

so richly beautiful; your tendrils of spring poem; most especially the beaming grins from the excited peoplies!

so deeply beautiful; these lines from mark alan's bio; he's so close to the earth the he lies between the rows; no wonder his music is rooted in fertile soil!

oh, these butterflies look like they are about to fly right out of their bouquet. or maybe around eachother in circles like maypole dancers. what a tendril of an image to hold onto as spring comes a little more every day.
