Holy Spirit
Hildegard of Bingen
Holy Spirit,
Giving life to all life,
Moving all creatures,
Root of all things,
Washing us clean,
Wiping out our mistakes,
Healing our wounds,
You are our true life,
Luminous, wonderful,
Awakening the heart
From its ancient sleep.
Oh yes.
Make us new.
Make us luminous.
You are.
Drenching us
washing us
immersing us
In You.

tears in my eyes, for the quiet and deep soul restoration that comes from those images and those words. deep blessing God, fill us with quiet snowy cathedrals and lights on a boat at night.
what beauty here and such a peace too.
deep, precious truths; awakening the heart stands out for me; like Aslan singing spring into narnia.
oh may the cold, icy parts of my heart be thawed and warmed by Love.
