Oh this bedroom has a egg-white ecru whipped cream wonderfulness to it. I love the glow and the many accoutrements in it. It feels like the kind of twist-in-the-tale bedroom that could be in a fort or an old cabin or in the tower of a funky house. All tricked out with glowy old-fashined-yet-cosmopolitan Samantha-of the american girl books- crepe and lacey valentine wonder. I can picture the Little Women ladies falling on the bed here after meeting as their theatrical society and fashioning schemes for contacting Laurie. Or Anne of Green Gables would write a book here all night.
Although I mainly crave outdoor summery photos and images and inspiration, occasionally, for a thunderstormy afternoon or for looking through found letters in a box or for writing late night poems, this room would be just the thing. Somewhat like a Melendy kid world for getaways for the girls.

Indeed! luxury does feel like contrast and there is the Old World crinkliness of this that i just love. ahh. isn't it amazing that the sweetness of summer warmth and love and contrast is just beginning ? Oh my. glamorous glamorous. ha ha.
